Project Overview:

Stein delivered this new build, a fast-track project that required a coordinated approach from every trade on site within a short programme period. We constructed multi-service modules off-site for incorporation in the project in a safe, fast and high-quality installation, which was substantially tested before installation.

The modules included LTHW, chilled water, domestic water services, and primary electrical containment systems. These were manufactured off-site, thus allowing the main contractor to build walls without the usual interface issues. The modules were configured to have valved connections outside each bedroom with connections to bathroom pods.

The use of modules on site significantly reduced on-site labour hours and minimised the number of deliveries within a tight urban location.
